Introduction

If you own a Ledger hardware wallet and want to start saving in Bitcoin while receiving your satoshis directly into your Bitcoin wallet, StackinSat and Ledger have partnered to make the process simple and automated.

Everything is done directly within Ledger Live, with no need to manually enter your Bitcoin address. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Connect Your Ledger Device

Plug in your Ledger device to your computer or smartphone (e.g., Ledger Nano S).
Open Ledger Live and go to the Discover tab.
Search for the StackinSat app and authorize its use when prompted by Ledger Live.

Step 2: Create a StackinSat Account

Click Create an Account.

Choose between an individual or business account (for this guide, we’ll select an individual account).

Fill in the required information:

First Name

Last Name

Date of Birth

Phone Number

Referral Code (if applicable)
Enter your email address and create a password (must contain at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character).

Accept the terms and conditions and click Continue.

Verify your email by clicking on the confirmation link sent to your inbox.

Once your account is created, log into your StackinSat dashboard and complete your profile by uploading:

✅ A valid ID document
Additional identity and profession details

For business accounts, additional documents will be required (e.g., company registration certificate, corporate bylaws, financial statements).

Step 3: Open a Bitcoin Savings Plan (BSP)

In your StackinSat dashboard, click Open a Bitcoin Savings Plan.

Name your BSP (e.g., "BSP John Doe").

Select "Use my Ledger Nano" to receive satoshis directly in your associated wallet.

Complete a short Bitcoin knowledge quiz (e.g., “What is the most secure way to store your satoshis?” Answer: A hardware wallet).

Choose the Bitcoin account on your Ledger where you want to receive your satoshis.

Verify the Bitcoin address displayed in Ledger Live and confirm it on your Ledger device.

Step 4: Choose Your Subscription Plan

Select the type of BSP you want:

Classic BSP: No commitment, standard fees.

Premium BSP: Lower fees, ideal for larger investments.
Set up a recurring purchase:

Frequency: Choose between weekly or monthly.

Investment Amount: Enter the amount in euros you want to invest per period.

Step 5: Set Up Your Recurring Bank Transfer

Set up a SEPA recurring transfer from your bank using the payment details provided by StackinSat:

Amount and frequency matching your BSP settings.

Payment reference (tracking code) provided by StackinSat.

Once your bank transfer is set up, your BSP will be fully automated. Each period, StackinSat will purchase Bitcoin on your behalf and automatically transfer the satoshis to your Ledger wallet.

Conclusion

🎉 Your StackinSat BSP is now active!

You can track your recurring Bitcoin purchases in the "My Savings" and "History" sections directly within Ledger Live.
